20 Facts About Me Tag

So recently on facebook this tag has been circulating around and I have been tagged by Kissy Nanaman and Madelle Vargas Sueno. So here it goes....

1. The queen of procrastination! It doesn't matter what it is I have to do, wether I love it or not, I just seem to procrastinate!

2. I am a serial list maker. Yup! I like to write down what tasks I need to complete to have a sense of "organisation".

3. Chocolate isn't my favourite thing in the world but paired with coffee? Oh! Yes please.

4. Savoury food will always be my choice over sweet.

5. My most favourite dish is a Filipino combo called "Laing at Dilis". I love it so much that one time I had it 5 days in a row.

6. I have never tasted the actual authentic Laing, I've always eaten it from a can but next time I visit the Philippines it will be on my to do list.

7. Lipsticks are one of my guilty pleasures. I just love it!!

8. I am quite an anxious person.

9. People think I'm "masungit" or a snob when they first meet me but really I don't like small talk. I just don't see the need for it, if it's important that's when I'll start a conversation. Unless we are close then that's when I will chitchat. Hehehe.

10. I have the best boyfriend ever! I know every girl will say that but I seriously do. (Insert evil laugh here).

11. I only have 3 choices of alcoholic drinks; 1. Archers and Lemonade 2. Malibu and Cranberry 3. Tequila. If it isn't any of those, I don't tend to drink unless it's a super yummy cocktail.

12. When it comes to my makeup, I don't like wearing liquid foundation. I'd rather flaunt my flaws and let my skin breathe. A light dust of power will do for me.

13. I am a middle child out of 5.

14. I have the weirdest parents, like ever! And my dad has always been bald ever since I can remember.

15. Candles are my new obsession! And I have been loving the scent "Amazon Lily".

16. I am a bargain hunter, I believe that it doesn't really matter what brand you wear. As long as it looks good on you it doesn't really matter.

17. Doing hair isn't my strongest point.

18. I wear glasses when I'm in front of the a screen. If not I get a really bad headache.

19. Ever since I was a child my favourite fruit is Mango paired with shrimp paste (bagoong) but sadly I developed an allergy with bagoong recently. BOO!

20. I still don't have a clue what I want out of life...

Wearing Black Lipstick

Just recently I saw quite a lot of girls in the "internet beauty community" sport black lips, just in the past two days 3 girls from my subscriptions did a video featuring black lips, including Michelle Phan with her Grunge Beauty video. Anyway with all these popping up, it urged me to look back on a video I did a few months ago.

This again was a collaboration that was organised by the Collusion Society and the project was makeup looks that would suit certain lip colours. And yup, I got black.

This was a tricky one for me as black is such a strong and intense in your face colour. I had to be very careful with the eye makeup so it wouldn't start to look gothic but not too simple either. So anyway I opted for a wash of brown on the lids, a cat eye line with the addition of small dots to give the look a little character. For blush I choose a pretty intense reddish shade as I didn't want the look to be flat.

The Silver Banshee

Hey lovelies, so I decided to give blogging another go. For my first post I'd like to talk about a collaboration I was in just recently.

My friend Azen and I created a group called "The Collusion Society" where we organise huge collaborations with other Pinay Youtubers and so far it has been a success. It was just such a lovely experience as I got to work with very talented girls as well as YouTubers I look up to.

Anyway the theme was Marvel Heroes & Villains and the character I got assigned to was the Silver Banshee, which has a skull based design. In all honestly I was so nervous about this look, I did about 8 different designs and below you will see the last design I did which is the one I posted on YouTube. Looking back now there are a few things I would do different, like making it more cartoon like, not having the cracks in the skull and doing a full face instead of half. But hey, we all learn from our mistakes right?
